Clients of ACT are large international corporations and leading Georgian companies; and not only. ACT provides valuable consultation for the new, smaller or medium players on the market who, after researching their potential and discovering advantage, have made first steps towards success. Thus, it is always important for us what clients think about ACT’s business and about the quality and value of the works done particularly for them.

ACT’s expertise, international experience, particular culture of labor, high quality of responsibility, orientation on clients and effectiveness are the factors for which Bank of Georgia has been ACT’s unchanged partner for 6 years already. It can be truly said that ACT, as our strategic partner, makes rather significant contribution in the success of Bank of Georgia.

Alexander Katsman, director of brand management department at Bank of Georgia

“Personally from me as well as from the team of GREENBERG QUINLAN ROSNER RESEARCH, I would like to once more express gratitude for the operative and high quality work  done at ACT. I want to say a special thank you for the works conducted on the day of elections, which once again demonstrated to all of us that, despite everything, ACT is capable of maintaining its tempo and quality. Exactly for this we gladly recommended this company to EDISON RESEARCH and were delighted that EDISON relied on ACT to help with exit polling after the 2008 elections.  Once again I want to give my respect and express hope that the cooperation between us will be just as productive in the future.”

Jeremy D. Rosner, GREENBERG QUILAN ROSNER RESEARCH Executive Vice President.

“Considering the fierce competitive environment in the Georgian business-sector of oil, constant innovations are essential for maintaining a position of a leader on it. Therefore, for achieving constant development and right decisions, “Wissol” regularly carries out various researches. ACT as a research company with competitive advantage has been “Wissol”’s partner in this aspect for the past few years and if today “Wissol” is a leader on the Georgian oil sector, it is partly a result of those precise decisions that were worked out at Wissol based on the ACT research results.”

Soso Pkhakadze, Chairman of the Wissol Supervisory Board.

"I am pleased to grant this letter of reference to ACT Research. However this reference letter does in no way reflect the position of BP Georgia, but presents my personal experience of working with ACT Research.

I have cooperated with ACT Research at number of occasions while ACT Research has been contracted by BP. Most recently ACT Research conducted Socio-economic Baseline Surveys for approx 66 km along WREP pipeline in two phases in 2008 and 2009. Surveys aimed to identify the demographic profile of the population living on the territory targeted by the project of BP Georgia and assess the local infrastructure, resources and services. ACT Research also conducted BTC Pipeline Affected Households Survey in 2009. All assignments were successfully completed.
In performing its tasks ACT Research staff demonstrated high professionalism, sense of responsibility, punctuality, transparency and flexible communication. Final reports presented by ACT Research were thorough, detailed and delivered on expectations."

Rusudan Medzmariashvili, Social Responsibility Manager, BP Georgia

"We recruited ACT to conduct a thorough survey of Georgian small and medium enterprises and their appraisal of the business enabling environment in Georgia. What we were looking for was a team of researchers who had the organizational strength to cover most of the regions of Georgia, the experience to cater to the client’s needs taking into account tight time-frames and voluminous work and the skills to ensure the quality of service, provided that IFC’s questionnaire was admittedly more complex than the surveys ordinarily undertaken in Georgia.
I should stress that ACT has far exceeded our expectations. IFC conducts similar surveys throughout the CIS region and usually our project teams complain on a percentage of questionnaires that have been falsified, forged or completed with errors. Our team examined ACT’s performance on a number of occasions during the survey fieldwork and encountered none of the violations indicated in other countries. Moreover, ACT was quick to mobilize additional resources on a short notice when additional effort became necessary to ensure the quality and representation of the survey.
One of the strengths of ACT as a team is their ability to communicate with the client in a timely manner and provide as much insight into the progress of the job as the client deems necessary. We were further impressed with the skills of their research staff and the willingness to understand all necessary (and often intricate) details of the questionnaire in order to ensure fair and truthful response. ACT was also very helpful when we needed to conduct focus group research. In summary, it is both the technical/logistical organization as well as the intellectual strength that distinguish ACT among other companies in the area of polling and sociologic research in Georgia."

Giorgi Gelovani, Project Manager, IFC Georgia SME Policy Project

"I worked with ACT in Georgia in late 2006 – early 2007 on an international project for the British Council’s South-East Europe region. The British Council is a valued client of Ipsos MORI. ACT Carried out the Georgian leg of the research, which involved working closely with me and my client’s Tbilisi office to arrange, carry out and analyse 23 face-to-face depth interviews with leading figures in the Georgian government and society who had worked with the British Council there.

I would certainly choose them again as my research partner of choice in Georgia. They were responsive throughout, both to me and to the British Council in Georgia and were very professional. The qualitative report was very thorough and detailed and delivered on expectations. The analysis was sensible and el thought out. The English in the report was of a good quality. All in all I was very satisfied with ACT’s work on this project."

Simon Riley, Associate Director, Qualitative Hothouse Ipsos MORI
